Subject: Just a thank U

I got chills… literally when I pressed play. I too was at this show, remember the teargas afterwards. Looking at the set list, obviously the boys were tuned in to what was going on outside.
I just wanted to say thank U for this . Thank U for letting take a lil trip back this morning. Good friends, great music… gosh I was a baby back then, not realizing how quickly time flies and people go. ❤️

Subject: Help on the way!

I was at this show and it was really hot! This was supposed to be the 2nd night of a two night stop but the first show was cancelled because Billy had to fly home to be with his Dad who had a heart issue or something. We weren't sure this show would go on but it did and in typical Dead fashion, "Help on the way" was a fitting open...everyone there "got it". The reason this show was so special was because the Dead knew there was a lot of disappointment from the night before and they knew they had to bring it for what then became a one night stop. A really special one for sure....

Subject: East Coast Struttin"

I was at this show where things outside got a little crazy. I was just walking over to the entrance and the dose I took was just struttin" in to my brain when a very large group of people begin rattling the back entrance fences until one side collapsed. The guards were running around helpless trying to stop the horde of hippies, drug heads, and drunken idiots who ran in as if a tornado was nipping on their heels.
It was a wild scene to start the night but once inside, everything begin to balance out and as The Dead begin to make their way on to the stage, an electric buzz took over and we all begin to settle in for one of the best shows I have ever seen. Everybody was on that night and the set list was smokin'. Next stop; Miami....
